About this project
This garden design project in Lilliput, Poole, included lots of hard and soft landscaping, giving plenty of useable space and a real touch of colour.
Black limestone paving has been used to create a large patio by the house. Composite decking was installed at the same level to break up the space and provide a larger area to entertain guests.
Painted sleepers have been used as a retaining wall across the garden and encompassing a circular fire pit area in matching stone.
The planting was chosen to give a large amount of colour all year round, with pleached trees at the back for added privacy. Corten steel pannels have been installed into the raised beds giving more colour and texture to the area. The side boundary line has a large block work wall faced in Purbeck stone again adding to the privacy of the garden.
